The grassroots ethos of the Peace Alliance is reflected in its borough programs, exploring the development and engagement of all communities in efforts to reduce crime and promote community safety through interaction with faith leaders, community and voluntary groups and statutory crime reduction agencies. The Peace Alliance was started in Haringey in June 2001 and has developed several initiatives and projects. The Peace Alliance has supported several community groups in community safety initiatives.
